Adagio at Dawn

These truly are seven and a half minutes that changed my life. I'm not a musician and have never played the keyboard - until now. Two months ago I was playing with a 4 note melody on my guitar I got as a Christmas gift from my wife, and thought .... hmmm that sounds kinda nice. I found an online digital keyboard which allowed me to play violin but only had 21 keys. I've always loved violins since hearing Samuel Barber's Adagio For Strings in a Music Appreciation course in college. In a week I had created the basic melody my first song. I woke up almost every day at 3am with melodies in my head. Things would pop in there in the shower, walking, etc. My wife thinks some dead composer was channeling thru me - lol! Eventually I figured if I was ever going to get any sleep, I needed to record this, so I bought a digital keyboard with 61 keys and recorded the song in 5 parts, each with 5 tracks. So, after lots of early mornings, late nights and weekends - I'm done. I hope you like it. My friends from all over the world supplied those amazing photos. Thanks folks!
